Android app and widgets
The Android app, with home-screen widgets for to-dos, projects and recent notes.
The Android app is HiveSight with home-screen widgets. It always runs the latest version, without needing an update from a store.
Install it
- On your phone, download HiveSight.apk (also in Settings → Get the Android app on the website).
- Open the downloaded file. Android asks you to allow installing from your browser; allow it.
- New versions install over the old one; your notes stay.
Widgets
Long-press your home screen, choose Widgets, find HiveSight, and drag one out. All three can be resized.

| To-do | A to-do list you pick when adding the widget. Tick items right on the home screen. |
| Projects | Your projects with task progress. |
| Latest | The ideas, notes, projects and lists you edited most recently. |
Widgets update whenever the app changes something, and every 30 minutes in the background, so edits from your laptop show up too. Ticks made on a widget are saved the next time the app opens.
Backups
The Android app also keeps an automatic backup in your Documents folder.
